The atmospheric, candlelit restaurant provides seating for 40 diners. There is a second dining room with seating for a further 25 and – weather permitting – a very attractive south facing walled beer garden for meals in summer.
Due to the current, ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we are currently offering a takeaway menu featuring a wide selection of high-quality food. Dishes are prepared
using fresh high quality produce,
locally sourced wherever possible.
During the summer and autumn months, a good proportion of the fruit and vegetables on the menu is grown in local gardens. This produce is also used to make many of the preserves and chutneys that appear on the menu.
The menu features an extensive choice of freshly made sweets, both traditional and modern, and a variety of home made ice-creams. Home-made bread and preserves feature on the menu. The home made jams and chutneys are available to buy in the hotel restaurant or reception.
